Sándor Bíró was born on 19 August 1911 was a former Hungarian footballer, who played as defenders. He played for the Hungarian national team 54 times between 1932 and 1946, and he played in all four Hungarian matches in 1938 FIFA World Cup, including the final againts Italy.

The defender, Bíró began his career in III Kerület, the professional association from the third district of Budapest, and later he played with many club.

Bíró was a defender with strenghts, good speed and technical talent, which made it one of the outstanding Hungarian defenders of it is generation.
