Why has he suddenly 91 for DEF again? I really don't understand that, same bullshit as in Falcao thread: first you give those overrated values, then (after getting negative feedback) you decrease them and then you assign those overrated values back again to the player..

You're talking about something else because you have no arguments. Gurkenjoe compared Pique to Chiellini, Hummels, Benatia and Godin, not to Sergio Brio or Nasazzi.

And what are your explanation? "He was amazing " "he was world class " "one of the best spanish defenders" ...

Prime Pique was better than all of those, except for maybe Chiellini and Godin, isn't that enough? Watch the games and then confirm it by yourself, and compared with others spanish defenders, he was a lot better than Nadal or Alkorta DEF wise, again watch the games, there's nothing more clear than that..

There's a reason why Barca and Spain won so much and it wasn't all for Messi, Xavi, Iniesta, Villa or the refs, you need a good defence and Pique was there, with Puyol of course but was there, at least for two years..

I have to be honest , for me pique is not even close to thiago silva in Milan ERA , for me he deserved a number like 88-89. The Most Underrated Defender of the forum is Maldini , 96 is too low , he maybe deserved 97-98.
