I know that he played like a right-half with the old formation (not only in the right side, because in the World Cup Final he played on the left and Gambetta on the right), but can we add the side back position? Because his position wasn't purely a defensive midfielder, is most like a mix of the DMF and the SB position.

Yes, i've read that in next gen PES 2013, you could put a SB deep inside the midfielders or attackers "zone" as long that the player is in the side..
Added SB. EDIT: You can't do that in the old generation it seems.. |

Thanks. And he has to be BS (both sides), not only RS (right side). He played mostly on the right side but also on the left.

Try to put this type of player in the wing half position in, for example, PES 2013. You can't put him like a defensive midfielder on the left or on the right because the DMF position in PES 2013 is only a small square in the middle. The SB position is needed.

Yeah, and in the old generation you could put a DMF anywhere the midfielder "zone", but his main "influence" will be always the small square in front of the defense.. |

Why do you remove the right and left sideback positions? They are necessary in PES 2013, because the half back positions didn't exist and the DMF position concentrate his game in the center of the pitch. Sometimes this "general updates" ruin the stats...
