Howard Spencer is one of the Aston Villa greatest players ever. The Prince of full backs, as he was called, was a true gentlemen on and off the pitch. He was en excellent, tough defender, in his time regarded as one of the best in the world. He helped his team winning three league titles and three cup titles. He represented England on six occasions. That number would be bigger if there wasn't so much injury setbacks that he suffered.

I personally don't rate any defender from those times with 70's on technical attributes (unless there are info backing they were decent-to-good, IMO they should be strongly depicted as defenders (meaning sometimes even more extremes values at anything that isn't really a stat related to defense, like technical attributes).

I agree that they were focused only on defence, but I don't think that they were uncapable of playing the ball. Of course,they weren't as good as todays defenders. Anyway, do you have any suggestions, or you just pulling my strings? :D:D

I would only reduce AGG to 50's (any value). Just highlighting even more his role.
