Camillo Jerusalem was one of the many great players whose careers were destroyed by the World War II. Karli played as inside left and was classic example of player on that position. He was very intelligent connector between defence and attack with great technique and good physicall condition. Jerusalem was very smart in making well timed runs in the box and score, especially with the head he scored some important goals. He had also powerful shot, able to score from free kicks as well. Camillo Jerusalem has played as a fourteen-year-old in the first team of the small clubs Landstraßer "hawk" as a central striker. He died on 1 August 1989 and was buried two days later at Vienna's Central Cemetery.
