His career began in 1954 at Livorno, where he played until 1959. After a season at Spal, he transferred to Inter, where he played 256 games from 1960 to 1967, winning three Scudetto, two European Cups, two Intercontinental Cups and becoming a legend of the team. He retired in 1969 after two seasons at Varese. He gained 12 caps for Italy. Picchi was in his early career a defender gifted with determination and good sprint, who sometimes pushed forward to support the attack. He became more defensive at Inter, mostly staying in front of his goalkeeper, commanding the defence, anticipating his opponents and winning every ball despite not being phenomenal in the air and not a very good header. Due to his lack of attacking prowess, Italy's coach Edmondo Fabbri limited his call-ups because he retained Picchi too defensive. Right-footed, he rarely used the left. A hard tackler, he wasn't though too strong but compensated the gap with great sense of position. He could do very good things despite not possessing great technique or acrobatic abilities.

Previous set has the idea but not the right values, i didn't expect to see this kind of supportive defenders for this era, but Picchi has all the combo that you want in a libero; speed, technique, passing. I don't find his DEF this great, he was a decent tackler and he could disposses with ease any player, at some point his TMW does all the work, he's supportive movements in the box and around of it is the key of his defensive prowess. Regarding BB, he wasn't any kind of defender triying to impose his strengh against others, at the opposite if he faced a bulky CF he will have a bad time. I decide to use this TS ACC RES combo, to push the game to emulate his style, regarding JUM i go with 90 just to balance his “low“ BB and HEA that at least for me was quite average, in the air he was a beast but probably with 78 BB he will beated, so 90 JUM can do the job. 1962-1965 Name: Armando Picchi Country: Italy Club: InternazionalePosition: ★ SWP, SB, CBSide: RF/BS Age: 25-30 years (20/06/1935) Height: 171 cm Weight: 71 kg Attack: 65Defence: 91Balance: 77Stamina: 82Top Speed: 72Acceleration: 80Response: 88Agility: 75Dribble Accuracy: 78Dribble Speed: 67Short Pass Accuracy: 82Short Pass Speed: 74Long Pass Accuracy: 78Long Pass Speed: 80Shot Accuracy: 62Shot Power: 74Shot Technique: 60Free Kick Accuracy: 60Curling: 61Header: 78Jump: 90Technique: 77Aggression: 66Mentality: 90Goalkeeper Skills: 50Team Work: 95Injury Tolerance: BCondition: 6Weak Foot Accuracy: 4Weak Foot Frequency: 3Consistency: 6Growth Type: Standard/LastingCARDS:P06 - Pinpoint Pass S09 - Covering S10 - DF Leader SPECIAL ABILITIES: Covering - D-Line Control

He was fast and good technician but despite this when running with the ball he was like dead?
Isn't a bit harsh DS for him?

He is explosive, velocity is not only about TS. Agi and acc are part of this subject too.

Well, then think about someone like Fabio Cannavaro: Someone who wasn't very fast with or without the ball, but an extraordinary burst on the first meters whenever he was chasing someone or whenever he had to intercept a pass.
The DS at 67 surely is because he barely moved with the ball, or when was in possession he walked, at least for gameplay purposes this value is justified.

El Capo give a better explanation than me.
Surely he was "fast" in some extend, but i wasnt chasing that point when i maked this set.
With his current DA TEC he is more than decent, at least for me and also we have to take in count his position.
I'm very finnicky about DS, as it's probably the most transformative stat in game, the game is retarded, Bale with 50 AGI and decent TS DS DA value can do good turns. theres so many things going on behind rating the ds, and we need to fine balance them all, and when everyone is at decent DS, the differnce between speed demons and just average players becomes really blurred, how im rating DS now, is the result of trying to really define individuality over the course of many years of finding that we really had very little and DS was one of the main culprits most players who show "high ds" typically fail to utilize it when asked for it anywhere outside of ideal situations (lots of space).

Is because you test it in singles games, this stats works and show the difference of categories when you play Liga or more matches, and tbh this is not some academy/university classes, Konami gives very consistent definitions about the abilities, so those new methods testing agi with 50 are out of proportions, sorry but is my point of view.
But anyway El Capo gave a logical explanation, so maybe is fine.

Do not take my post in a offensive way, I tried to play with it several games as I can in the time I have. As in real life, players in the game over the course of every season suffer from fatigue It is very difficult for players to show the same level in each game, Picchi for example has played games in which he showed incredible consistency but in others he had mistakes that could have been harmful to his team. I try to get players closer to their real life counterparts. It's not a university, I take this as a hobby, I like the idea of comparing and classify players using stats, but it would disrespectful if I'm going to post "he needs DA 90, he was very skillful" in a set of yours or El Capo, Gurkenjoe MagicDip or anyone, knowing that you and they spended time watching several games and playing PES triying to make the sets and I come with an argument like that Regarding what I said of bale, I was not being serious, I just wanted to say that the game in certain aspects is not coherent, I didn't say that these are the values that Bale deserves. It is true that Konami has give definitions of what each stat does, but at the same time they gave certain guidelines of how they work in their early sets. If you deeply analyze the sets of PES 4 and 5 of Henry https://pes5000.blogspot.com/2015/02/henry.html you will realize that there is a lot of sense in what they were trying to do with those values regarding DS and AGI.

Ok then. Is not personal. Maybe I was uncanny and disrespectful, my apologies.
I just was wondering why so low DS despite he was agil and quick (explosive for being a defender) and of course as an incredible SWP.
But is okay.
