could someone take over the domain of all stars topics from the user beiderbeck? He apparently never updated any of his topics and some need obvious changes.

If you didn't give any suggestions about them, you can do it. Then a mod will update the teams if he agrees with what you say. Anyway, take in mind that sometimes mods wait for more users to give suggestions before actually updating the team and the same goes for the players sets. Also, I think that many all star teams need updates but it's not easy to check all of them.

In what world is Mario Gomez superior to Mario Mandžukić????

Don't know what exactly you're refering to but I'd always take prime Gomez over Mandzukic. Mandzu stood out for his workrate and heading abilities but in terms of calm finishing in front of the goal he wasn't even close to Gomez, not even in his best season at Bayern. In the one season they played together at Bayern Mandzu was regular starter and Gomez still scored almost as many goals as Mandzu despite playing less games/minutes.
But actually it's weird to compare them since they represent two different types of CFs what actually was one of the strengths (not even mentioning the "Pizza-Express" as third option for CF) of our treble winning squad in 2013.

I reinstalled PES (2019 right now) a couple of weeks ago to play ith my girlfriend and nephew during these weird times. I am not following football right now a lot, but wanted to create a couple "old" teams to play with:
