Typical Brazilian lazy genius. Tozzi was famous above all for his dribbling and speed, but also notorious for lack of discipline, night life, skipping training sessions and passive walking on the pitch. He was excellent dribbler with good shot, knew to score from distance and free kicks. As all brazilians he was also good technician with innate sense for goal and good pace on the ball. Tozzi was also strong player. Humberto was born in Rio de Janeiro and was unveiled by St Kitts. At age 19, was already at Palmeiras. Versatile, playing in the middle and attack, forming the dreaded line Liminha, Humberto, Ney, Jair Rodrigues and Tatu. In a meteoric career, was top scorer in his first competition, the Paulistão 53, and eventually summoned to the 1954 World Cup. Humberto Park would still be in Antarctica for over two years, with the artillery of another state championship, to go to Lazio. In Italy, Umberto Tozzi turned. Soon won the title, but the goals were slow to leave. Only in his second season came the consecration.
