INFO:Bellucci was a centre back, who could be used also as right back. His professional career began in 1989 at Bari. A promising defender, he was bought by Cagliari in 1992 but he played only 42 matches in three seasons before being sold to Avellino in Serie B. He appeared in 22 games and scored once during his only season with the
Irpini. In 1996 he joined Lecce, where he contributed to the Serie A promotion in his first season. He played a total of 74 games and scored twice ─ one goal was a decent low to the ground volley ─ with the
Giallorossi in three seasons. He then played for Treviso, Messina and Lucchese, retiring in 2007.
Bellucci was a decent man marker, gifted with fine anticipation ability and good strength. However, he seemed that he couldn't match big strikers, especially in Serie A. For example during his spell at Cagliari, he was completely dominated in terms of strength by Alen Bokšić in a match against Lazio. Anyway, he had troubles even during his time in Serie B, being not very careful because he committed many fauls, sometimes had bad timing in the tackles, caused penalties and received several red cards.
