INFO:

Ohlhauser was striker and midfielder, even though he said his favourite position was sweeper. He actually played as sweeper whenever Beckenbauer was absent and always in his time in Switzerland. Rainer was complete player, in his youth he was regional champion in 100 meters and Long Jump. He was technically gifted player, very endurable, fast with good scoring capacities, decent passing, good shot and dribbling. But he often had lot of mistakes in passes and ball control and he wasn't fast on the ball. A very fast offensive player who liked to drift between a deep midfield position and a striker position. At Bayern in the early-1960s, the pre-Gerd Müller era, the tall and skinny Ohlhauser was the goalgetter and he did a very good job. With Gerd Müller coming into the team, Ohlhauser found a new role as a supplier in central midfield, as the second, more withdrawn central forward in the 4-2-4 scheme of the day. By the end of the 1960s Ohlhauser was still ahead of Gerd Müller as the best goalscorer of Bayern during the 1960s. In 1970 he left Bayern to play in Switzerland where he continued to play for another six years as a libero for FC Zürich and Winterthur. Began with nine years as a talented athlete (youth champion in sprint). Through distinct speed and eye for goal he made early in SV Sandhausen attention to himself and played there from 1958 to 1961 in. After winning the North Baden Cup - why Ohlhauser had contributed 29 goals - were presented to the striker talent several offers from the area south of the former league. He decided on the offer of FC Bayern Munich and in the summer of 1961 in the Bavarian state capital. He delivered in his first season 1961/62 in 26 missions from 23 goals. In the second season, 1962-63, he was with 24 hits one of the guarantors of FC Bayern Munich. In the Bundesliga, Bayern Munich collected from the 1965/66 season title in the series. Ohlhauser and colleagues won the DFB Cup three times in the years 1966, 1967 and 1969 and 1969 also celebrated the double by winning the German Football Championship. At 31 May 1967 in Nuremberg, but the association was already successful in the European Cup Winners' Cup against Rangers with a 1-0 succeeded in extra time. During 1968/69 championship winning coach led but Branko Zebec as directed and brought in particular Gerd Muller and physically in good shape so intrusive that Rainer Ohlhauser now from midfield into the Bayern game. From 1965-70, he brought it to 160 league games and 64 goals. Overall, he is out in the statistics of FC Bayern Munich with 331 games and 208 goals. After nine years he left Bavaria in 1970 and moved to Switzerland with Grasshoppers Zurich. Even with the Confederates, he was successful as a player. 1971 he was with GC champions, handed it to the 1973 and 1974 runner-up. In the following two stations FC and VfB Friedrichshafen Emmenbrücke he connected the player-coach with the function and acted from 1976 to 1980 as player-coach. With the Bundesliga, he had nothing further to 1980-82 by the task of the junior or assistant coach at Hamburger SV and Borussia Dortmund. As part of trip to South America in December 1968 with internationals against Brazil, Chile and Mexico, he played on 18 December in Santiago de Chile Chile against his one-time use in the national team.
