Nazha is a former centre forward. His career began in 1987 at Racing Club Beirut. He then spent nine seasons at Tadamon Sour from 1989 to 1998. After short experiences at Nejmeh and Greek club Kavala, he transferred to England in 2000. He retired in 2005 after several years in English minor leagues. He gained 32 caps for Lebanon ─ reportedly 45 considering also unofficial matches ─ scoring 8 goals. During his time at Tadamon, he received offers from African and European clubs but he decided to stay in the Lebanese team.
Regarded as one of the best Lebanese strikers of the 1990s, Nazha was already a regular in the national team when he was 18 years old. He scored his first international goal on his 19th birthday and soon became a fan favourite. Gifted with great physical strength, good shooting ability on either foot and excellent heading ability, he was nicknamed "the Gorilla" by the fans who wanted to encourage him to take advantage of his qualities in order to score. Defenders were afraid of challenging him for his strength which was combined with solid speed on the distance. Therefore, he was left unmarked most of the times. For the same reason, he had no issue at waiting inside the box so that he could take advantage of a ball reaching him after a goalkeeper's save. He was also a threat in the air thanks to his ability to jump high and head the ball to difficult corners. Mainly left-footed, he could score with sudden powerful shots from difficult positions, sometimes with the outside, which were a nightmare for both defenders and goalkeepers.
