INFO:

George Hamilton was a legendary Aberdeen player, their 3rd top scorer with 155 goals in 284 games. Hamilton lost a large part of his career to World War II but after serving in the army during the war, he resumed his footballing career and became a key player for Aberdeen. An inside right or centre forward, Hamilton was especially known for his outstanding heading ability, not just when heading towards goal but also creating plenty of chances for his teammates with subtle headed flicks. He was also respected for his conduct on the pitch and was nicknamed "Gentleman George". Among his other strengths were his great positional sense and ability to link up with his teammates, being comfortable with both feet, and his good work rate. He was both a good scorer and provider and was known as a refined technical player that could link the midfield with the attack. Hamilton was also a Scotland international and scored a hat trick against Belgium in a 5-0 victory in 1951. He was part of Scotland's disastrous 1954 World Cup squad but didn't play in either of his nation's two games.

Updated a little bit after finding some more info. He was one of the best players in Scotland in 1950, and an intelligent leader on the pitch. Maybe I'm even underrating his heading abilities too since in almost every single game he was scoring or assisting with a header.
