I’d rather Ramos wasn’t added to the first team, while he is a huge part of this incredibly successful team, he hasn’t even been Madrid’s best defender for most of that time, and his stupid red cards are partly to blame for Barca’s dominance in the league and in matches between the two teams. If he steps up and leads the team to more league titles now that Ronaldo has left, then I’d consider him over Quincoces.
On the other hand, I personally think Marcelo has surpassed Roberto Carlos, he’s a better overall player in my opinion and has been utterly fantastic the last 2 or 3 years in particular. Plus, I’ve always found Carlos to be kinda overrated because he was a flashy player with memorable moments, it’s easy to forget how frustrating and wasteful he could be with his constant shots from long range...

I bet Barça will change their national dominance on La Liga for some fresh European Conquest Plus, remenber Madrid's last league title, Ramos gave a phenomenal performance with those last minutes goals to lead them to a "Doblete" that season with Liga and Champions League awards. Yes, but Marce's last year was "inconsistent" tbh, i hold him as one of the main liabilities of the fuckup start of the season with his annoying floppy defensive prowess alongside Ronaldo's poor start and general team underperformance.

In 2020, I think there is no doubt that a only one human being like Cristiano is more important to the history of Real Madrid than Amancio. He deserve to be at Start XI for yesterday.

I think he should replace Quincoces. Ramos’s legacy is undeniable.

Points per match 16-21: Isco ~2,19 (187 matches played) Kroos ~2,01 (221 matches played) Modric ~2,07 (218 matches played) Casemiro ~2,12 (225 matches played) Valverde ~2,08 (102, joined in 18/19)
These numbers clearly say that Casemiro is the most important Real Madrid player for last five years. Benzema has long had a monopoly on the center-forward position. Defensive line is full of injuries. Vinicius and Asensio? Not even funny. Vazquez is all-around on the right so he probably deserves some fame as well. Courtois? I loved Navas much more.

Yes, Casemiro is certainly a candidate, more than Makélélé for sure; Claude denied himself further glory at Real after asking more cash.

Perez denied him that because he didn't want players who stood up for their rights and for a fair salary (that instead went to overpriced and overpaid Galaticos), that's why he first drove Makelele out of the club and then also forced Hierro to leave later. And an update for that team is on the way, so no need anymore to spam this thread with bullshit like that: Glavbuh21 wrote: Points per match 16-21: Isco ~2,19 (187 matches played) Kroos ~2,01 (221 matches played) Modric ~2,07 (218 matches played) Casemiro ~2,12 (225 matches played) Valverde ~2,08 (102, joined in 18/19)
These numbers clearly say that Casemiro is the most important Real Madrid player for last five years. These numbers are totally irrelevant, not only because this thread isn't about Real 2016-2021; more importatnt we certainly don't include players because their teams got the most points with them. Modric was more important than Casemiro, same goes for Ronaldo, Ramos, Kroos, Benzema and Navas. God, even Bale was more important than him but unfortunately the Welsh Wizard never got the reputation that he deserved.

He'll never earn the reputation of the "majority" of the supporters after declaring: Wales > Golf > Madrid , unless he deliver +40 goals this season.

Just asking but why did you choose Mijatovic over Suker? Merely want to know how is he better.

Almost 150 more matches, twice the goals, four Champions League wins while El Buitre didn't win a single one. At least in terms of achievements and individual statistics, Benzema surely makes it more than Butragueño.
