That was from me, and there is no criticism in it. I meant, depending on our age, we don't have the same interest about classics even there's no doubt we all like football of course.


I guess that's aimed to me, so am I the troublemaker? I doubt that, since the quarrels are about "All star teams" and I have no interest at all in these so-called All Star teams, something I already mentioned in the past. You may have noticed I never give my opinion about who should or should not be in these teams since I don't use them.

So I was wondering, why exactly is Helge Bronée in this team? I can understand John Hansen because he was a huge part of the 1948 team, but Bronée wasn’t even part of that team and only played 4 games for Denmark. I really can’t see any reason he should be in the 23 over Vilfort who was a very important player in Denmark’s greatest team. The same goes for all the other guys in these teams that did absolutely nothing for their national team (Hatzipanagis for Greece and Plattkó for Hungary come to mind). After all, it’s “Denmark All Stars”, not “Danish All Stars”.

I agree that some national teams have players who, for many reasons, did not play enough for their team.
By the way I think Christian Eriksen should be added to the reserves.

Does anyone have the stats of Fritz Tarp? He is one of the greatest defender in Denmark's history and maybe the best defender of Denmark
at the beginning of the XX century. He is considered by the Kicker Magazine of 1941 as the best full-back of all time (until that year,obviusly) alongside Nasazzi: https://www.bigsoccer.com/threads/all-t ... t-36271575. Also he has 44 caps for the national team, a very good number of caps for that years.
