INFO:Haji is a former side or central midfielder. He spent almost his entire career at Kazma, playing there from 1984 to 1997 and from 1999 to 2003. He played also for Saudi team Al-Shabab from 1997 to 1999. He capped for Kuwait in 55 occasions, scoring 8 goals. He was named Arab player of the year in 1994.
One of the most complete and technically gifted Kuwaiti players of the 1990s and arguably in the history of Kuwait, A great and hardworking playmaker, Haji was the heart of Kuwait national team's midfield. Mainly left-footed, gifted with excellent technical and dribbling skills, he was sometimes too persistent in challenging his opponents one-on-one. Although, he could distribute the ball with very accurate short or long passes. He wasn't particularly fast but he was agile enough to move smoothly between the defenders with the help of a great ball control. Due to his qualities, he was the main target of the opposing defenders as he didn't have a strong physique and was weak in physical challenges. Despite his short size, he had a decent heading ability and he often supported the defence around his own area by recovering or sweeping the ball. He was a set piece specialist who could either create a scoring chance or attempt to shoot on goal. In fact, he occasionally scored even from direct corner kick with curled balls and numerous times from the penalty spot.
