After having call attention at Cortiba, Éverton Ribeiro had a great moment at Cruzeiro, being chosen as the best player of Brasileirão twice (2013/2014), when he began to receive some opportunities in the national team.
However, he took the decision to go to the arabic football where he would get tons of money. This made him get out of the focus for the Seleção, loosing time in terms of achievements for his overall career.
After two years playing in the United Arab Emirates, he decided to return to Brazil to play for Flamengo. After a period of re-adaptation and inconsistency, he began to show his high class and top skills again.
Now, he is having chances in the national team again and has little chance of going to the World Cup 2022.
