BalancedINFO:Alexis Castro is an Argentina footballer who plays as a midfielder. Born in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires (18/10/1994), Castro is the son of former footballer Fernando Castro, from whom he inherited his nickname "Pucho". His father had a football club called Estrella de Maldonado, in the Palermo neighborhood of Buenos Aires, where Alexis started his footballing career when he was just 7 years old. Aged 10, he joined the reserves of C.A. San Lorenzo, but he was set free in 2011, when he joined C.A. Tigre, the team where he made his professional debut on March 30th, 2015, in a 0-0 draw against Defensa y Justicia. After a breakthrough 2016-17 season, he joined San Lorenzo again, but without any opportunities, he was loaned to Club Tijuana in Mexico, Defensa y Justicia, and C.A. Colón, where he won the 2021 Copa de la Liga, the first title in the team's history, scoring goals in the quarterfinals against Talleres and in the final against Racing Club on June 4th, 2021. In 2022 he returned to Tigre with stellar performances, that made many teams from the continent put an eye on him. In 2024 he signed for Club Nacional de Football, being his first experience in Uruguayan football.
