Ndolou is a former libero, centre-back and defensive midfielder. He played Abeilles FC, Étoile du Congo, and Inter Brazzaville during his career in the 1960s and 1970s. He represented Congo from 1969 to 1974 as starter and captain, leading the team to the final win at the 1972 Africa Cup of Nations.
One of the best defenders in Congo's history, Ndolou was one of the main forces behind the team success at the 1972 African Cup. He was a complete player who led the back-line and supported the attacks by often starting them for his team. He was good in the tackling, at anticipating his opponents, and strong in the air thanks to solid jump and accurate heading. He was probably the most technical defender of the 1972 Congo side. Ndolou could carry the ball out of his area, attempt a dribbling and distribute the ball with either foot.
