He was a born genius, he knew everything with the ball, but his nature was not smooth, to put it mildly. Varga stood out from his teammates with his unexpected solutions and unparalleled technique. Little Puskás was the name stuck to him for a while, but more importantly, he mastered the trick that his teammates watched in his mouth in Hertha: he turned the direction of the rolling ball from the ground, turned it 180 degrees with a lightning-fast ankle movement, and then followed. In 1964, Zoltán Varga was an Olympic champion and bronze medalist in the European Championship with the Hungarian national team.
