After watching the qualifying and the two matches at the Euro, there's a couple of things I would like to point out:
While the formation is correct, the positions aren't. Yugoslavia played something of a total football under Bice Mladinic. Very short passes and often changing of positions in the middle, back and on the wings. Buljan was definitely an attacking RB, while Katalinski and Muzinic were the pair of centre-backs, where Muzinic would often cover the LB position and play the DMF. Katalinski was like an additional striker, very often going front.
Surjak played as a LWB and DMF in this game often going into the middle (and even on the right wing), while Oblak, Jerkovic and Acimovic were holding everything in the middle and were all over the place. Oblak would be up and down, left and right, Acimovic mostly up and down as well as Jerkovic. All midfielders would go back to the defence to get the ball. Both Dzajic and Zungul would return to centre to receive balls while Popivoda was something of a false 9, often going to the wings..
Couple of corrections:
Captain: Jovan Aćimović
Short Free Kick: Dragan Džajić/Jurica Jerković
Long Free Kick: Dragan Džajić/Josip Katalinski
Free Kick 2: Josip Katalinski
Left Corner: Dragan Džajić
Right Corner: Jurica Jerković/Dragan Džajić
Penalty: Dragan Džajić
Player to go up on free kicks and corners: Josip Katalinski
Team Strategy
★Right Side Attack
★Left Side Attack
★Change Sides: Between Between All Midfielders
★CB Overlap: Josip Katalinski
★Pressure
★Ball Possession ATT
Finally, the jerseys were not the same ones used in 1974 World Cup. The ones used in Euro 1976 had a darker blue note and white only strips on the sleeves while the shorts were the same. Socks were red but only with white stripes. The away jersey was all white with blue only strips.
