Maicon was a right back or wing-back, one of the best during the second half of 2000s. He had his best time at Inter from 2006 to 2012, playing 248 matches, scoring 20 goals - most of them between 2008 and 2010 - winning national titles, the 2009-10 UEFA Champions League and the 2010 FIFA Club World Cup. He played also for Cruzeiro, Monaco, Manchester City, Roma, Avaí, Criciúma and Villa Nova. He gained 76 caps for Brazil, scoring 7 goals.
Maicon was a complete defender, mainly offensive but capable in defence too and gifted with great stamina. When he had to defend, he was strong and had timing of covering. When he attacked, he showed the best of him, supporting the forwards or being an additional one himself. He had good speed with the ball, technique and dribbling ability, could deliver outstanding crosses with very good effect during active play or from set piece, was capable to use the outside of the foot and could score with thunderous long range shots and volleys or after making a run to the box. Moreover, he could make very long throws that could lead to a goal.

I would decrease AGI to 80 and make LPA higher than LPS. Despite having been one of the best players in the squad especially in 2009-10 I remember him for having some low peaks during matches and because of that his talent was put in doubt many times. What about a decrease, maybe even slight, in MEN? Early Cross might be added.

CONS could be overdone too.

Yeah, I agree. Even Konami used to give him 8 in both COND and CONS in PES 2011. Really exagerated.

I can only think on Lahm if i have to give a 8 in both COND/CONS if i have to think in a contemporary SB....and perhaps some mediocre SBs who always consistently plays, but technically and tactically have nothing to offer.
