INFO: He played on Ponte Preta from 1981 to 1987, scoring 105 goals. The most important striker of the Ponte Preta in the 80's and one of the three largest in its history. Soon in its first year already it was vice-champion of São Paulo. It was a typical center-forward, crisp, good positioning, opportunist, crashing and always present in the area. It was with Socrates the second top scorer of the Paulista Championship of 1983. His stage was so good that he was summoned to compete in the 1984 Olympic Games, winning an honorable silver medal. Another good phase of his career was in Coritiba when he won his only state title in 1989. At Botafogo Carioca he also featured in the 1992 Brasileirão, being the top scorer of the team in the competition.
