Attack MindedINFO: Played in Portuguese from 1988 to 1993, scoring 24 goals in 141 matches. Considered by many as the player who was in the best position to get close to Pelé. Despite having played a few games in the late 1980s, his appearance in the Portuguese team was after the Sao Paulo Football Cup in 1991, when he was the title highlight and formed a sensational attack trio alongside Tico and Sinval. Its beginning was meteoric, being soon summoned to the Brazilian Selection, debuting (like Pelé) against Argentina, with some old journalists already making comparisons. Owner of a fast and dribbling football with goals that were true works of art, engraved in the retina of the fans of his team and of all who admired the well played soccer. Portuguesa was unable to hold him for a long time, being loaned to Grêmio (Rio Grande do Sul 1993 champion) and then sold to Vasco da Gama (1994 Rio champion). A fatal accident took his life when he still had much to show and who knows at the World Cup that was not called. Even playing for a short time in Canindé was a pride of the club, with his fans never forgetting their fantastic performances.
