He had his best time in his early years at Udinese, where he made 152 appearances from 2002 to 2007, scoring 9 goals. He then played for Portsmouth, Inter, Sunderland, Milan, Al-Ittihad, Pescara, Deportivo La Coruña and Albacete. He initially retired in 2019 but signed for Ghanaian club Hearts of Oak in 2022. He played for Ghana 84 times, scoring 20 goals. A good and hardworking box-to-box midfielder in his prime, Muntari was distinguished mainly for his physical strength and aggressiveness. His main task was to win balls and break the opposition's offense, which he did due to his energy and tactical awareness. Nonetheless, he also possessed remarkable technical skills that he improved throughout his career. In fact, he had decent dribbling in addition to good speed in open space and solid passing ability as he could deliver accurate and often fast through passes or crosses also from corner. He was left-footed and rarely used the right foot even though he wasn't bad with it. He was a threat from outside the box thanks to a powerful long range shot that though hit the post or missed the goal most of the times. Muntari was often criticized for his hard but far from fair tackling that earned him numerous cards. He also used to attempt to shoot from long distances even when he had better options for playing the ball, blowing up a potential good offense in the process. goals https://youtu.be/tHW-RhItw70?t=87 , https://youtu.be/wXkxd7G-QaU?t=134 , https://youtu.be/D7L21zloDVc?t=19 , https://youtu.be/jnzELjfE0PI?t=56 , https://youtu.be/joQrYL_lp3k?t=60 , https://youtu.be/cAQy6qtpY9Y?t=48 , https://youtu.be/hMsLh0NWHwY?t=1 , https://youtu.be/_g-M2jTXifs?t=77 , https://youtu.be/_Fjq2Wrihx0?t=42 , https://youtu.be/HWs-9Iv5R5Ymore shots https://youtu.be/yOgJVYpoJS0?t=52 , https://youtu.be/tHW-RhItw70?t=99 , https://youtu.be/GNMDL42rYts?t=49 , https://youtu.be/ModMVcY9B2A?t=82 , https://youtu.be/jnzELjfE0PI?t=19 , https://youtu.be/m09McHzdG5E?t=79 , https://youtu.be/51wdsPCaWo4?t=53 , https://youtu.be/21ZKehWL7us?t=108ball distribution https://youtu.be/uKRmzJR2Oyk?t=104 , https://youtu.be/m09McHzdG5E?t=60 , https://youtu.be/21ZKehWL7us?t=98 , https://youtu.be/afG-kydXXDg?t=105 , https://youtu.be/z-5wwrhPiMg?t=17 , https://youtu.be/51wdsPCaWo4?t=60 , https://youtu.be/21ZKehWL7us?t=83 , https://youtu.be/fjgVt3gnfeo?t=287 , https://youtu.be/afG-kydXXDg?t=224 , https://youtu.be/IkhqdPkBu0A?t=98 , https://youtu.be/2MMncwCW4SQ?t=80 , https://youtu.be/fIOCPHE-3Ww?t=21

He's DEF maybe is little bid high , he was very dummy when try to tackle and in many times. Also he is not at the same level of Casemiro in that aspect.

I don't know what was going through Simcav's head when he gave Muntari high yellows in MEN, maybe one of the dumbest players I've ever seen, constantly committing stupid fouls, getting himself sent off, and sabotaging his own team by taking random shots from 40 yards out. He should honestly be in white there, this guy had rocks for brains

Actually he was more about physical power rather than some kind of commitment, one of the most limited player that I've eve seen in both Milan sides.
