Attack / Defence Awareness Card: Defense MindedINFOS:Jimmy Rimmer is known by one unusual achievement - he has won European Cup twice and in neither one of the final games he hasn't been on the pitch at the end of the game. He was a great goalkeeper, but since he played in an era of excellent English goalkeepers, he didn't have much chance to play for the national team. He appeared in only one match for England. He performed superbly for the Villans in their championship year, and especially in the European Cup winning season in all games except in the final match. He injured his neck in the 9th minute of the final against Bayern and was replaced by the youngster Nigel Spink who played brilliantly. By his words, he's very proud of this achievement: "The thing I can say is that I played for the biggest club in the north – Manchester United, then the biggest club in the south – Arsenal, and the biggest club in the Midlands - Aston Villa".
