Jes Høgh played as an attacking midfielder for Aalborg. He only became a CB when he moved to Brøndby.

Kasper Kusk has appeared in 143 games (still active on his second stint) and scored 33 goals in Superligaen so far. He also won the Double in 2014 with the club, beeing the topscorer in both Superligaen (12 goals in 33 matches) and Danish cup (5 goals in 6 matches). He should be in reserves for sure, maybe he could be considered even for first team. Jakob Ahlmann and Nicolaj Thomsen could be part of the reserves as well IMO.

Also from what I’ve seen Ib Simonsen was more of a sweeper than a midfielder.

Some more suggestions: Ib Simonsen to first team over Jens Steffensen (Simonsen made almost 400 appearances and captained the team that won their first league title). With this change you have 3 natural CBs, 2 left sided defenders and 2 right sided defenders. And Jakobsen and Priske can also cover CB.
Jessen in starting XI over Jakobsen, actually in the 3 games on Footballia he only played RWB but apparently he mainly played on the left and he was more important in AaB's history than Jakobsen.
Anders Due, Jozo Matovac and Rade Prica can be added to reserves.

Who would you replace for them? You know I prefer not having too many reserves.

Well, it's only one player in each section (Matovac defender, Due midfielder and Prica forward). But I think you could replace Soren Kusk, Leif Skov and Ingemann Clausen. Matovac and Prica were key parts of their 1999 title and Due was probably their best performer in their European run in 08/09.
