INFO:Lahzami is a former winger or side midfielder, usually on the right, who could also play as secondary striker and attacking midfielder. He spent the majority of his career at Espérance Tunis between 1970 and 1979, making 204 appearances and scoring 79 goals. In Tunisia, he also played for Hammam Lif in two different spells, 1967 to 1970 and 1982 to 1984. He had two experiences abroad, playing for Olympique de Marseille in France between 1979 and 1981, Al-Ittihad in Saudi Arabia in 1981-82. He capped for Tunisia 51 times, scoring 10 goals, although other sources report 69 caps and 12 goals. He was a member of a Tunisian national team at the 1978 FIFA World Cup.
An excellent offensive player who possessed remarkable technical qualities and pace, especially over short distances, Lahzami could be a threat for the opposition's defenses whether he was acting along the side or in a central position closer to the area. His agility and short frame allowed him to move well between opponents, although his dribbling movements were sometimes predictable. A solid set piece taker, he was usually in charge of taking free kicks and corner kicks, mostly to send the ball in the box, alternating with left-back Ali Kâabi in said tasks. Lahzami's ball distribution was in fact good. However, his teamwork wasn't always exemplary as he sometimes crossed the ball towards wrong targets or decided to keep the ball for too long and attempt to dribble one too many opponents. Nonetheless, he was very good at passing the ball first time. While his number of goals makes him look like a solid finisher, his shooting skills weren't exactly optimal, especially when he attempted the shot from difficult positions.
