Yusuf Altıntaş, nicknamed Rambo (born August 7, 1961, Kocaeli), is a former Turkish national football player and coach. Although he usually played in defense, he also played in the midfield from time to time due to his strong physique and ball technique. Because of his combative nature, ambition and anger, the fans called Yusuf "Rambo Yusuf". Despite that was calm under pressure, not violent, excelled in positioning and marking. He started football at Köseköy Bel. Later he was transferred to Kocaelispor. Yusuf Altuntaş was then transferred to Galatasaray in the 1984-1985 season. Yusuf, who had a nervous structure and an aggressive playing style, got very angry with İsmail Kartal in a match and slapped İsmail in the face. After a 10-year period at Galatasaray, he returned to his old team Kocaelispor in the 1994-1995 season. After playing there for two years, he said goodbye to his active football life in 1996. He was a constant player for Galatasaray and the National Team for many years. He played an important role in Galatasaray's first championship in 14 years and in the championships that followed and in their success in Europe with his ambition and the goals he scored. Yusuf Altıntaş, who was called up to the national team 39 times, wore the national jersey 35 times in total, 3 times with the Turkey U-18 team, 6 times with the Turkey U-21 team and 30 times with the Turkey A national team, and scored 2 goals in these matches.
