BalancedINFO:Bergamini was a defensive midfielder who could also play as full-back. He spent most of his career in Padova, playing 211 matches and scoring 7 goals from 1928 to 1935. Then he played 79 games in four seasons in Livorno. He retired in 1942 after a few seasons in minor leagues.
Bergamini was considered one of the best half-backs in Italy during the first half of the 1930s thanks to an uncomparable consistency. He was a tireless player, tough, firm and strong in physical duels. Moreover he had a decent foot, not too rough. In fact he wasn't only good at defending and intercepting but also at passing the ball to set up an action or pushing forward to participate to it and not rarely trying the shot.
