INFO:Loni was a left-winger. His career started at Parma in 1941. He signed for Pisa in 1945 and stayed there until his retirement in 1957. He's Pisa's all-time top scorer with 78 goals in 288 appearances. He was team captain for seven seasons. He allegedly scored all of his goals from active play, never from set piece.
Arguably Pisa's key player during the 1940s and 1950s and one of the most important in the club's history, Loni was a short and fast winger. His style of play was based on running down the left flank before making the best possible move which could be a curled cross from the endline for the centre forward's head or a very quick cut inside the penalty area that most of the times was followed by an unstoppable left-footed shot to the second post.
