INFOThe greatest ever Romanian footballer. Iosif played actually on all positions but mainly as inside forward or wing half, nicknamed "Romanian Di Stefano" for his versatility and leadership like famous argentinian, complete player with highly refined technique, two-footed player, great shot especially from long distances, great FK taker, strong in aerial play and above all stunning strategist. He was brillant brain to organize all team moves with highly precise passes, great technician with perfect ball control and dribblings, great pace as well which compensated fragile physical constitution. It was the fourth of ten children Petschovschi family. His father was a Slovak native of Bohemia, while true-born mother was bănăţeancă. At 13, little Joseph was discovered by Austrian coach Carol Vanna and went to Chinese Timisoara team which started at 16 years, 18 years in Division B. The first echelon already perform at CAM. He then returned to China, where he moved to Oradea, in the years of World War II, where he will earn his first title, but the championship that matters Hungary.
