Bjørn Otto Bragstad is a former Norwegian center back, and an iconic player of Rosenborg. He played from 1989, but became regular starter in 1993. He was tall and strong, but also clumsy, they conceded numerous goals after his mistakes. As a defender, he was good at reading the opponents moves, and also relied on his physical strength. That helped him a lot in opposition penalty box too, when it was a corner for his team. He was very inconsistent, he could play at top level, and then just miss the ball and give an opponent a chance to score. In a games without mistakes, he was often one of the best on the pitch. For several years, him and Hoftun formed the best center back partnership in Norway, and even played together for the national team. His NT career was short, but he managed to obtain 15 caps, and three of them were at Euro 2000.
