Binić picked the right moment to return to the club, for Red Star's most successful season ever. And he fitted in the team perfectly. Playing at the right side as a support for both Pančev but for Radinović too, he was known for his speed, as the fastest player at the moment in Yugoslavia, and by his own words, in whole Europe. All of his abilities were overshadowed by his speed, and his playing style mostly consisted of waiting for the perfect moment to run down the flank in open space to get the ball. When he find himself in the penalty box, he only see the goal in most occasions, but sometimes he would deliver a decent cross, or try a quick low pass to his teammate. He was able to shoot the ball from the toughest positions, but his shots weren't much precise.
