What's the "lack of sufficient fair conditions"? Messi probably not winning any title or Cristiano Ronaldo having, in my opinion and despite his 28 goals in Serie A − almost half of them from penalty −, a highly underwhelming 2020 so far? Because apparently, with the exception of Luka Modrić, if they can't win the trophy no one else can.

I think they mean that it's because France cut their league short, and the CL is all different. Which seems like a silly excuse because obviously PSG were going to win Ligue 1 anyway. Although I can understand that the long break might have helped or punished some teams and players more than others.

Still, I don't see a reason it couldn't go ahead. Also, they're definitely not postponing it because Messi and Ronaldo wouldn't deserve to win it, lol. They're not biased at all, really, they were just that far ahead of everyone else for 10 years. Remember when Messi came 5th in 2018 despite being by far the best player in the world that year? Anyway I hope Lewa gets another chance next year, Messi and Ronaldo are only declining at this point, although Messi is still the best player in the world IMO, I think Bayern have way more chances to win trophies than Barca.

This year's Europa League is looking interesting. Wolverhampton Wanderers may route to a European final after almost 50 years but they have to beat Sevilla, the team the so predictably always goes far in the tournament. Then whoever wins will probably face Manchester United unless København, who never went so far in a European competition, makes a miracle. Inter vs Bayer Leverkusen is probably the toughest match of the quarter finals. Shakthar Donetsk vs Basel looks like a 50/50 to me even though the Ukrainians are probably superior.

Better lose now against City than in the quarterfinals against Juve/OL,or semis against Bayern/Barça or even in the final against Atlético.
