When I said that better City than Juve, Bayern, Barça or Atlético, I didn't mean it like that.

Amazing how every side of the Ronaldo transfer lost out. Madrid lost their killer instinct in the CL, Ronaldo ended up in a league where he’s basically competing for nothing, and Juventus spent 100 million on someone in their mid 30s and have maybe already missed their chance to win the CL with him because of a lack of support around him.

Still, Juventus have scored 7 knockout stage goals in the CL since Ronaldo arrived. And Ronaldo has scored all 7 of those. So it’s pretty clear that both Madrid and Juve need him desperately.

That's sporting aspect. Regarding marketing, I think Juventus got enormous profit, which I think was their goal in the first place.

They will still pretty much rule Italy, they probably will double the Quinquennio D'or era next season with a 10th consecutive legaue title.

I think their main goal was to finally win the CL again. Of course, they’ve probably already made the Ronaldo money back in things like sponsorships and shirt sales. But results like this are only going to make them more of a laughing stock, and by the evidence of the last two seasons, it’ll only get worse when Ronaldo leaves. They need a complete overhaul.

Honestly, one of the best things that could’ve happened to Juve was them losing Serie A. That would’ve forced them to get rid of all the old players on big wages and invest in younger, talented players. They at the very least need to get rid of Higuain, Matuidi, Khedira, Bonucci, Bernardeschi, Costa, maybe Cuadrado. Arthur for Pjanic was a good start. It’s crazy how Inter are making much better transfers than Juve considering they’re nowhere near as attractive a destination due to years of being absolutely shite.

They also got millions of CR7 fanboys from third world countries on their FB page who spam basically every post that Juve makes there. They even almost ended up voting Ronaldo's header against Sampdoria as the best Juventus goal ever ahead of del Piero's wondergoal against Fiorentina
I personally have nothing against Ronaldo himself but everytime I see those retards fapping on CR7 (not matter if the post has something to with Ronaldo or not) I hope that he leaves the club as soon as possible, also in terms of performances I expected more from him.

They got the clutch player, but even clutches need something where to grab impulse to perform.

Well, I guess he's the first coach to be hired for the second team only to be named coach of the first team without a single game of experience..

I guess every team is looking for their Pep or Zidane now, with Lampard, Arteta, Flick and now Pirlo all getting big jobs with little to zero first team management experience. Xavi next?

Of course if it works out like Pep, Zidane or Flick (so far) it’ll be seen as a genius move but it also has the potential to go horribly wrong, just look at all those inexperienced former players Milan appointed.

Flick and Lampard surely proved themselves in the smaller teams they coached.

I'm interested on what a Lampard can achieve, if the tales of his IQ are true, then he surely has the potential to be a remarkable DT.

I can post that team, I already prepared it (with the formation from the DFB Pokal final) but I wanted to until the season is over.

By far the best player in the world right now. Too bad that he'll end up without a ballon d'or, certainly the best CF of the 21th century so far.
