Milan Damjanović is a former Partizan player and one of the greatest left backs in the history of the club. He lacked physical strength and wasn't fast at all, but he was extremely intelligent defender with ability to take the ball away from the most skilled opponent. His sliding tackles were a nightmare for attackers. He also joined attack, but because of his lack of speed he didn't perform classical darting runs, he rather waited to see what will be the outcome of the attack and when he saw the opportunity to join, he will go forward and wait for return pass from a teammate to deliver an useful cross. He was two footed player. He possessed good ball controlling skills and was able to beat the opponent with the ball in his feet.
