Attack/Defence Awareness Card: Defence MindedINFO:The best ever Aalborg player, captain of the Danish national team in the 70s and one of their best defenders during that decade. Munken was a physically commanding defender, towering over most attackers of the era. Together with Per Røntved he formed a very solid partnership for Denmark throughout the second half of the 70s. Despite having a reputation as a tough and strong defender, Munken actually had good long passing ability too and had decent speed over longer distances, although he wasn't comfortable if pressed when he had the ball. He was a good leader and captained both club and country. By the time of his retirement, he held the all time appearances record for both AaB and Denmark. He was also the first player to win Danish Footballer of the Year twice, winning in 1968 and 1975.
