Kessié is a central or defensive midfielder, capable of playing as attacking midfielder. Raised in Ivory Coast, he debuted in 2014 at Stella Club d'Adjamé. He then had very good seasons at Cesena in Serie B and Atalanta in Serie A between 2015 and 2017. He was signed by Milan, where he made 223 appearances from 2017 to 2022, scoring 37 goals. He transferred to Barcelona in 2022. He capped for Ivory Coast 58 times so far, scoring 6 times.
Kessié is a superb and dynamic box-to-box midfielder, effective in the defence as much as in the attack, distinguished for huge strength, plenty of stamina, good technical skills, competitiveness and remarkable speed. He's a good tackler who waits for the right moment to snatch the ball off his opponent. He can keep the ball and overcome the opposition with remarkable dribbling skills or distribute the ball with accurate and quite fast passes, also with the outside. He's a threat in the box thanks to his aerial ability. He's also a penalty specialist who scored 31 penalties so far, 22 of which with Milan. He occasionally scored with good and very powerful first time shots.

you could always take a look on PSD set to see, in your opinion, where they overblown or underrate a certain attribute, biggest difference I see is weight .

Well, PSD is synonym with overrating some stats and underrating others way too much to balance things.
Anyway, most websites have 76kg. I guess I can leave the weight as it is now.

Thanks for the set. While I agree with most points, I find DEF quite overrated here. Most of his defensive work relies on two things: Intercept passes (resembled by RES) and taking the ball away with putting his body between him and the opponent (=> BB). When doing the last one, those challenges certainly aren't always clean and he also isn't a guy who stands out for excellent sliding tackles. Tbh I don't even see DEF in green, 73 should be the absolute max. for him.
BB is IMO hard to determine since he uses his strenght a lot but also goes down quite easily sometimes.
ATT on the other hand can be at 75/76, his offensive actions are IMO better than his defensive work.
TMW and MEN could also be 1 or two points lower, current values seem overdone.


Regarding Weight: Barca even lists him with only 74 kg on their page, maybe Frank suffers from the Yo-yo effect?

Yeah, I saw that. Then there's a Milan dedicated website that lists him with 83 kg and Wikipedia 88 kg.
