INFO:Right winger and centre-forward, goalscorer, one of the most successful free-kickers on the home field, bomb shot. Typical liner, fast, explosive and also a bomb free kick shooter. He was perhaps Fradi's best right winger so far. His runs were dazzling and his crosses had a fine curl. He was also known as Szentmihályi killer - the Ujpest goalkeeper had a lot of tough time with his shots and free kicks!
He played for Ferencvárosi TC in the Hungarian league, appearing in 191 league games and scoring 71 goals. He quickly integrated into the great offensive line of the green and whites, forming a formidable forward line with Zoltán Varga, Albert Flórián, Gyula Rákosi and Máté Fenyvesi. With the team, he won the Hungarian Football League twice and the cup twice. He played in 5 matches in the European Champions Cup, in the Cup Winners' Cup he played in 4 matches and scored 1 goal and in the UEFA Cup he played in 23 matches and scored 3 goals. He ended his career in the second league team Volán SC Budapest.
He played for the Hungarian national team in 1969-1973 in 13 matches and scored 3 goals. He was a member of the Hungarian national team at the 1972 European Football Championship, where Hungary finished in 4th place, starting in the semi-final match.
