He trained in the lower categories of Betis. In the 1968/69 season, playing with Triana Balompié, a subsidiary of Betis, he won the spanish runner-up in his category. He debuted in the first division, with the Bético team, on September 5, 1971, at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, against Real Madrid, a match that ended with the Madrid victory by two goals to zero.

He remained at Betis for eleven years, being the absolute owner of the right side position of the defense from the 1971/72 season to the 81/82 season, playing 285 league games, being his greatest success the obtaining of the Copa del Rey of 1977, in whose final, held on June 25, 1977, against Athletic Bilbao he was the starter and scored the last penalty of the definitive penalty shootout that gave the victory to Betis. He played his last season in the 1982-83 academic year with Coria Club de Fútbol, in the Third Division.

Bizcocho was also an international with the Spanish national team on two occasions fighting matches against the combined of Greece and Turkey, which had as an outcome the Spanish triumph.
