Edit: I'm not even surprised about our result. Schlotterbeck is the worst CB to ever represent our country and let's face it: We could have easily won 4:1 but when you don't convert the chances and make such substitutions, you dont deserve to win.

Man, Germany are just so poor apart from Musiala. The defence was shocking (Rüdiger was decent I guess), forwards were invisible, I don't know why both Chelsea and Germany insist on using Havertz as a 9 when he is so obviously not suited for that role, he doesn't have the mentality or physicality to lead the line, it's just so easy to mark him out the game because he takes far too much time to do anything. Kimmich was so sloppy, Gundogan was at least causing some danger but if he's the only player getting into scoring positions or taking shots then there is obviously a problem...

And they have to play a young and hungry Spain team next? Worrying for Germany, they could be eliminated after 2 games. All credit to Japan of course, just like the Saudis yesterday they never gave up and played aggressively, punishing their opponent's complacency.

Seriously? Rüdiger was the only defender today that showed some interest in defending - unlike those other three clowns. Raum has been horrible since he joined RB (his last assist or succesful cross might also be from that time), Schlotterbeck was a total joke and about Süle: After playing almost the entire last year with either Kehrer or Hofmann as RB, Flick decides to use Süle (who played on that position for BVB but rarely for NT) there. It was so obvious that it would fail, after all it's nothing else than Badstuber in 2010 who was solid on LB position for Bayern but got teached a lesson from Krasic at the WC. But the most important thing: There are only two German CBs who are good enough on international top level: One is Rüdiger, the other one was ignored for younger and more average players like Schlotterbeck and Bella Kotchap.
But most important: You can't sub off Musiala in such a match, he's our best player right now (and yeah, no matter if he missed the goal today both him and Jude Bellingham are still better players than Gavi)..

Belgium vs Canada resembles me a 90's match

Belgium incredibly lucky that Canada couldn't finish, or it would've been even more embarassing than it already was.

Once again Belgiums "Golden Generation" are being completely ruined by an incredibly average manager in charge.

This "average manager" destroyed Tite, the currently Brazil's coach, in last World Cup. Not such a difficult task but still.

The second half had a hole in the middle though which Renato Augusto took advantage but he wasn't so accurate.

With the players at his disposal he should be destroying Brazil and he should've at least got to a final in his time. He's an incredibly average manager who accomplised absolutely nothing deserving of managing the Belgian team. At least Sven had success as a coach before he butchered England, I feel for Belgium fans having potentially their greatest ever squad reduced to this tonight
