Dimitar Berbatov is a former centre forward or secondary striker. His career began in 1998 at CSKA Sofia. In 2000, he signed for Bayer Leverkusen, spending six seasons, scoring 91 goals in 201 matches. In 2006, he transferred to England, playing for Tottenham Hotspur, where he made 102 appearances in two years, scoring 46 goals. He then played for Manchester United from 2008 to 2012, scoring 56 goals in 149 games. He retired in 2018 after short experiences with Fulham, Monaco, PAOK and Indian club Kerala Blasters. He capped for Bulgaria 78 times, scoring 48 goals.
Berbatov was an excellent striker, distinguished for his big physique, high technical skill, cool composure, tactical intelligence, and elegant movements. He wasn't too fast, but he compensated with outstanding ball control, great dribbling, and impeccable positioning that enabled him to get himself on most balls after deflections or goalkeeper saves. Not only he was a great and prolific finisher, but he had the sharpness to send his teammates in front of the goal. In fact, he possessed a remarkable passing ability that he showed from outside the area or the goal-line, first time, with the outside of the foot or the heel. He moved with right timing during an offensive play in order to receive a pass from midfield. This way, he added great depth to the action. In England, he seemed less effective due to his new style of play which was more laid-back and composed. Therefore, he was at times criticized of being lazy and inconsistent. In reality, he simply adapted himself to Manchester United's game, putting his excellent touches and technical skill at the team's service, combining those qualities especially with the unmatched determination and effort of his forward partner Wayne Rooney.

About Berbatov I only remember seeing him in his days in Manchester.
Honestly this set has some values ​​that I do not really understand, the obvius are its ST and TEC, and in the background its AGI and DS.

Regarding his control of the ball, this guy has to be one of the best trappers and ball retainers that the English league could have, his style is not orthodox but is very effective and lovely to see.

IMO TEC should be between 92/93.

About his ST, imo idk why he is rated 78 there, Although his physical complexion is different and his style is based on his ball control, during his time in Manchester, practically this guy will shoot from anywhere and with a great technique.

His physical complexion was a key point, since it limited his movements and that most of the time he used his technique, he was stiff in his movements, it was heavy and that made his turns not always successful. In my OF I rated him at 70 regarding AGI, so we can replicate his style in combination with his TEC and DA.

If we talk about DA and DS we could say that it belongs to the same style as Riquelme, obviously they two are different but you understand what I mean, they Dribble in short spaces at low speed, like Riquelme and therefore in wide spaces a low DS value makes his style limited as in real life.

STA also seems questionable, he wasn't that worse at Leverkusen and Tottenham. Btw, fully agree with those points mentioned above.
