Attack/Defence Awareness Card:INFO:Im Song-hwi is a former left-half. He spent his entire career at 2.8 Sports Team. He capped for North Korea at least 13 times, scoring at least once, and was a starter in all four games of the 1966 FIFA World Cup. Maybe one of the less exciting players in the North Korean squad, Im Song-hwi was short, seemingly not fast off the ball and had the main task to distribute the ball, taking advantage especially of his notable mid-to-long distance passing ability. One of his pinpoint crosses assisted Pak Sung-jin for a goal against Portugal. In the match against Italy, he attempted to score in one occasion with his left foot but the shot finished high over the crossbar. The shot followed a dribbling where Im Sung-hwi showed a fairly quick footwork.
