INFO:Manzul was a left-winger and inside-left. His career started in 1944 at Al-Hashmab. In 1949, he transferred to Al-Hilal Omdurman, where he spent the rest of his footballing years, retiring in 1963. A member of Sudan national team, he took part to the African Cup of Nations in 1957 and 1959, and scored at least 3 goals.
Considered one of the greatest players in Sudan's history and undoubtedly the best n°10 the country has ever produced, Manzul was known for his outstanding talent, creativity, fairness, unique style of play, and ability to score difficult goals with thunderous power in his left foot. Despite being a forward, he showed a refined and charismatic leadership as he would direct the defence and then orchestrate the attack. He was elegant and almost imperceptible in the field as he moved lightly and smoothly from one side to the other. He liked getting himself in strategic positions on the left flank that allowed him to score amazing goals that astonished the crowds. Moreover, he was accurate in passing the ball to the other attackers and excellent in linking the lines up. He was nicknamed "Prince" for his personality and abilities with the ball. Manzul, who said that he took inspiration from Hungarian legend Ferenc Puskás, had the chance to show his skills against clubs from India, China, Soviet Union, Austria, Indonesia and Hungary.
