Raul Vicente Amarilla won by his self the Libertadores cup for Olimpia, a similar success did it by Riquelme. It should be considered at least in reserves.

Clemente Rodriguez must be a joke, this guy isn't even worth reserve material. Seriously, he and Maidana are here but not Oscar Malbernat? Ramon Aguirre Suarez? Perez but no Bilardo? Where's Martin Palermo? Where are Ruben Suné, Hugo Gatti, Vicente Pernia and Roberto Mouzo? Those guys were regulars in teams that dominated the competition but then you have Filipe Luis here who won two titles when he was already past his prime. Those criterias are weird in general, how can you call it an AS Team of a competition when you exclude most players right before? It should be named Multiple Copa Libertadores Winners All Stars.

Of course I checked all those names and took them into consideration. But I guess I gave too much importance to the palmarés. I can rework the team. It's not a problem.

Yes, IMO the rules are too strict. That’s why you end up with players that were just lucky to be part of a dominant team while excluding players that had a real impact on the tournament like Pedro Rocha, Fernando Morena or Antony de Ávila.
If we were applying the same rules to the European Cup for example, we would have random 50s Madrid players or Nacho/Ambrosini types over guys like Lahm, Scirea etc. that only won once.

Team reworked and number of players increased. More suggestions are welcome, if you have any.

In my opinion, Roberto Perfumo, Lucas Pratto and Willington Ortíz have to be at least in reserves. Antony de Ávila is 100% a starter in this team, even if he did not win any Copa.
While I agree with Santoro's and Almeida's inclusions, Hugo Gatti, as far as Copa Libertadores goes, is definitely not more than other goalkeepers listed in reserves. Bilardo and Rubén Suñé could be changed too, but I understand their additions.
I also think that something in the team could be twitched to put Juan Ramón Verón as a starter.
The reserves list is too big, more, or more important names could be added.
