Regarding our match yesterday: Finally a good start in a tournement again and even more important -finally the team showed the efficiency that has made our NT a force for decades. Musiala and Wirtz proved again why they're arguably the most talented duo in this competition, if they continue to play like that we could really play a big role in the EC. Maybe I overestimated Scotland but from what I've seen yesterday, I was pretty disappointed since the team lacked both creativity and also mentality.
Regarding the current match of Spain vs Croatia: Another good example why it's so important to convert your chances. The result should be 3:2 but since both Gvardiol and Majer didn't convert their chances, Spain will rather end up trashing Croatia then having a tough game until the last minute..

Only Barcelona could have pulled similar handball in a European competion without getting a penatly for it. Spain's win is certainly not undeserved but one thing is sure: If there is some football "god" on this planet, please do us all a favor and let someone (I don't care who) finally end the career of that bastard Carvajal with a tackle so that he can never play the game again. Too bad that he is banned in semi-final, otherwise Mbappé would have raped that piece of shit without any problems..
I don't even comment on our "coach" who yet again threw away the game by yet again trusting "Sixty millions down the drain - Havertz disappeared again" as CF, Rüdiger, Can or Sané as a starter. What's the point of having 5+1 substitutes when you basically throw three of them away each game because your starting XI is crap? I don't get it and one thing is clear: Our NT will never win a title with that clown as coach..

That Cucurella handball was obvious as day and night. Even dumb commentator Daniele Adani pointed it out.

The referee expert on British TV said that it wasn't given because Cucurella's hand was behind his body and moving away from the ball. I don't really want to see these handballs given as penalties, but based on other penalties that were given, it seems like a strange decision. I think Fullkrug was offside anyway, but IMO they should give that as a penalty and then work out the details with VAR. Anyway I think Spain were the better team but both teams played pretty well. I don't really understand why Can started instead of Andrich, he was hilariously bad this game, I guess Nagelsmann was worried about Andrich being on a yellow card and maybe missing the semi final, but this probably would have been the hardest game of the tournament anyway. And Sané was a joke in every game, I wouldn't trust him at all to take to an international tournament, never mind starting some games. I was surprised at the physicality from both teams, especially Kroos had about 10 fouls before he finally got a yellow card. IMO Spain showed they have the champion's mentality and I expect them to win the tournament.

I felt bad for Portugal in the other game because they played better than France, and especially Pepe who had a fantastic tournament at 41. France are so boring and negative, they still haven't scored a goal from open play, just an own goal and a penalty. They offer basically nothing interesting or entertaining, the only bright spot was Dembélé looking dangerous coming off the bench, but knowing him that means he'll be shit for the next 5 games. Hopefully Spain destroy them and it's not just France grinding them down to 0-0 again. Deschamps is a really good manager but he really knows how to take the fun out of football.

Winning a penalty shootout with Yann Sommer as your goalkeeper is something that you can only win if the opponent directly shoots the ball at him. I don't get how Yakin still keeps him in goal (although the little man can't even reach the corner during a penalty) when he has Gregor Kobel who is taller, younger and most importantly far better than Sommer..
Equally stupid: Letting Akanji take the first penalty although he already failed his country at the last EC.
And what the fuck is wrong with Xhaka? If you're the the captain of your team and don't/can't take a penatly in such a situation, then you should give away the armband..

Um, yeah, they were born in Barcelona, Paris, Eindhoven and London. Of course they are European.

Now I'll have to see either Spain, England or the Netherlands win another title...

Better than France winning another one, lol. Especially because England and Netherlands have come close so many times and only have one trophy each.

Anyway I can’t see anyone other than Spain winning and I expect every neutral fan will want to see them win as they have played by far the best football of every team in this tournament.

France winning would've been bad too but of the four teams remaining it was the only one I didn't hate. If a Spain vs. England final happens I would honestly prefer that UEFA declared this Euro void and there was no winner.

What a goal from Watkins. I still think Spain will win, but it's still impressive that England consistently turn up in these moments, basically the opposite of every England team of the past.
