INFO:
Cássio Ramos is a Brazilian footballer who plays as a goalkeeper. Born in Veranópolis, Rio Grande do Sul (6/6/1987), Cássio started his career at Grêmio and was quickly promoted to the first team. He played for European clubs PSV Eindhoven, where he won the 2007-08 Eredivisie title and the 2008 Dutch Supercup title, and Sparta Rotterdam, before joining Corinthians at the end of 2011. The goalkeeper made his debut for Corinthians on March 28, in a 1-0 victory against XV de Piracicaba at Pacaembu, during the Campeonato Paulista. He quickly became the club's first choice, taking over from Julio César. Since joining Timão, he has won two Campeonato Brasileiro titles, four Campeonato Paulista titles, one Libertadores title, one Recopa Sudamericana, and one FIFA Club World Cup title against Chelsea in 2012. On that occasion, he won the Golden Ball as the Best Player of the Club World Cup and was also named the Most Valuable Player of the final. After winning the 2019 Campeonato Paulista, he became the player with the most titles in the club's history. He is considered by a large part of the Alvinegro fans as the greatest goalkeeper in Corinthians' history and, by some, the greatest player in the club's history. In July 2022, he became the goalkeeper with the most appearances for Timão, surpassing Ronaldo Giovanelli's record of 602 games. In August 2022, he became the second player with the most appearances in Corinthians' history, behind only Wladimir's 805 games. In May 2024, his time with Corinthians came to an end, and he left the São Paulo club, signing with E.C. Cruzeiro to take a backup role. Internationally, he represented the Brazilian national team from 2012 to 2019, making his debut in 2017 in a friendly against Japan and being called up for the 2018 World Cup and the 2019 Copa América.

Shouldn't Penalty Stopper be added? He was great when defending penalties, specially with penalty specialists, such as Rogério Ceni.

Yes, I thought of it but I wasn't sure. Cássio saved 32 penalties in 712 games for Corinthians, which is roughly two penalties saved per season, if my math is correct. The same goes for Ronaldo who saved 27 penalties just for Corinthians. They probably both deserve it.

I know. Both were still amazing penalty savers, that's why I had doubts about whether to add the SA or not, it had nothing to do with their number of penalties saved, I was just mentioning that because it's an impressive stat.
