This is just a question, not a suggestion. If you consider him bigger player from the club than the ones from reserves, I'm ok with that.
Btw, Fluminense is my favorite Brazilian club, so I'm looking forward to this team being fully updated. I agree. The reason Minuano is there is probably because of his role, winning 2 state championships and 1 national championship in the 3 years he stayed at the club, but I believe he can easily be replaced by Assis, who played in the team between 83-87, won more titles (1 national championship, 3 state championships - Carioca - and 2 "Taça Guanabara" and minors) in addition to being probably a bigger protagonist (and he has a bust at Fluminense headquarters, which confirms his idol status).

Yes. I agree with Assis replacing Flavio Minuano.
Another change I would do is Batatais or Marcos Carneiro de Mendonça instead of Fernando Henrique.

I believe the names to be reviewed after Libertadores title are:
- Nino - André - Arias - Cano
Others may be considered as well, like Ganso.
The think is that Fluminense history is huge, since the begining Fluminense was already one of the biggest clubs of Brazil and Fluminense is a very old club.
So, we have to be careful to not be unfair with past idols.

This must be debated, because there are players who, despite playing for a long time and being important, did not win a significant title like the Libertadores, which had already been "almost" won in 2008, it was highly anticipated by the fans, these four players were the pillars of the team, I watched and followed when they eliminated the international team (a team I'm a fan of), so I think they could be among the top 23 And in SC Internacional, fernadão in place of larry

I would take out Waldo and replace him with German Cano. Sure, Waldo was technically better, but Cano and Fred are the most important players of the club this decade

Replace the club alltime top scorer with a mediorce striker who is just spending his third season for the club.
