INFOHans Herman Henriksen (born 3 January 1958) is a Norwegian former football player, later football coach. He was right back although he could switch on the left side during the game and in the centre of defence, he also played in attack. Player with good speed and ball control. He could burst forward and send useful cross. Hans played for his hometown's football club Mjølner and represented the Norwegian national football team (22 matches). Later, he played professional football for the Chicago American Sting (1980-81), and several French teams: Le Havre AC (1981-82), Valenciennes FC (1982-85), EA Guingamp (1985-1988), Sporting Club Abbeville (1988 -89), Angoulême CFC (1989-90). He joined Chicago in 1981 as striker. He was loaned to two French clubs to second division Le Havre and Meaux. He played only 8 matches to Sting, only 5 as a starter. He then began a long career in France, in teams of modest reputation. Back in his hometown, he has trained Narvik FK and Mjølner and worked as a teacher at the high school and Frydenlund Oscar Borg high school. Henriksen is one of only seven national team players who have never played in the Norwegian top league.
