INFO:
José María Giménez is a Uruguayan footballer who plays as a central defender. Born in Toledo, Canelones (01/20/1995), he made his professional debut on November 10, 2012, under the direction of Juan Ramón Carrasco, with Danubio in the Uruguayan Primera División against Central Español, a match in which he came on in the 46th minute, with his team losing 1-0. His first full match was the following week on November 17, 2012, when Danubio faced River Plate (Montevideo) in a Uruguayan Primera División match, with Danubio losing 2-0 at home. On April 25, 2013, it was confirmed that José María Giménez had signed with Atlético de Madrid in Spain for the 2013-14 season. He made his debut on September 14, 2013, in a match at the Vicente Calderón against Almería on matchday 4, which ended with a 4-2 victory for the home team. On December 18, he played his first Copa del Rey match in a 2-1 victory over Sant Andreu, which secured the red-and-whites' place in the next round. These were the only two matches Giménez played during the season in which he won the league title, despite playing just one match. In the 2014-15 season, he was crowned champion of the Spanish Super Cup after defeating Real Madrid by 1-0. Once again, he did not play any minutes but was called up and sat on the bench. On December 6, 2014, he scored his first goal in the red-and-white shirt: after an assist from Arda Turan, he made it 0-1 against Elche Club de Fútbol on the 14th matchday of the league. During his second season at the club, he played in many more matches than the previous one, alternating as a starter with Miranda as Diego Godín's central defensive partner. Additionally, Giménez won the 2018 UEFA Europa League for Atlético de Madrid, defeating Olympique de Marseille 3-0 in the final on May 16 of that year. Three months later, on August 15 of the same year, he would defeat Real Madrid 4-2 in the UEFA Super Cup final. His most recent title to date is the 2020-21 Spanish Primera División, which he won after seven years alongside his compatriot and national team teammate, Luis Suárez.

He was called up to the senior national team for the first time on August 22, 2013, for the matches against Peru and Colombia in the qualifiers for the 2014 Brazil World Cup, making his debut on September 10 against Colombia, a match Uruguay won 2-0. Giménez would play two more matches in the qualifiers against Ecuador and Argentina, securing a spot in the World Cup after defeating Jordan in the playoff, having finished fifth in the qualifiers. On May 12, 2014, the Uruguayan national team coach, Óscar Washington Tabárez, included Giménez in the provisional list of 28 players with whom they began preparations for the 2014 FIFA World Cup. He was finally confirmed in the definitive list of 23 players on May 31. Despite having played only two matches in the entire 2013-14 season, in the World Cup, except for the first match, he started the next three matches until Uruguay's elimination in the round of 16. On November 14, 2014, he scored his first goal in the sky-blue jersey in a friendly against Costa Rica. On May 23, 2015, he was called up to play in the 2015 Copa América. Giménez started all three group stage matches, scoring a goal in the third and securing qualification for the quarterfinals. At the end of the group stage, he was included in the Copa América's ideal team up to that point. In the quarterfinals, Uruguay was eliminated by the host nation, Chile. At just 23 years old, he arrived as one of Uruguay's starting central defenders for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia. In the first match, he scored a header in the last minute to give Uruguay a 1-0 victory over Egypt. Uruguay reached the quarterfinals, and Giménez was a key pillar of his national team. He also played in the 2022 FIFA World Cup, where Uruguay was eliminated in the group stage by Portugal, Ghana, and South Korea.

I thought to give him 90 RES, but I didn't think he was on the same level as Otamendi in terms of response.
